What says male bravado like a musketeer dog costume. Just

that will quiver at the sight of such a dashing character,
resplendent in tabard (emblazoned coat) and cavalier hat. The fame of D'Artagnan
and his three musketeer friends, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis is only slightly
diminished in their canine counterparts - Dogtanian and the Three Muskethounds.

Taking on such a character is not for the faint hearted, as true musketeers
realize. The costume comprises a feathered cavalier hat and a tabard. The hat is
normally fastened with an elastic band to the dogs head. Let your canine

musketeer dog costume, as shorter breeds will often need to be fitted for the
tabard to save it trailing after them. The cavalier hats are often a "one size
fits all" which can work, as small hats still sit well when fitted at a jaunty
angle and only add to the overall effect. Dogtanian is the perfect partner to a
medieval themed costume that the owner should chose to wear, although they often
steal the show, so don't be disappointed if the ladies flock to the hound.
Stepping out with such a hound at your side is guaranteed to attract attention,
so make sure that your costume is up to scratch too. Matching dog and owner
costumes are more popular these days, so it may be worth shopping around for
one. If nothing else, you can at least match your dog by choosing the same color
theme. A great idea is to get the whole pack involved, with another two
musketeers to accompany your hound.
