Plus Size Hellboy Halloween Costume

For us plus sizes, us big and tall, there aren't a lot of options among Halloween

costumes for plus size. For the big fellas, we can play any John Goodman character, and we've got Santa Claus, which doesn't work so well on Halloween. For the tall ones, we can be our favorite basketball player, and that's about it. Sadly, there aren't many superheroes for either of us, except with a plus size Hellboy Halloween costume, that is.

Hellboy is one of those heroes that lends some validation, and a bit of sex appeal, to us big guys. He's big, he's bulky, his right arm is about five times as big as his head, and he's one bad dude, but likable and sweet at the same time.

Hellboy was a revelation for many big guys. Finally, here's a guy who's big, bulky, he's got the jaw of John Wayne and the physique of a beast, and to boot, he's balding. Thousands of years old with the attitude of a petulant teenager, you just don't get much cooler than Hellboy.

So how do you pull off plus size Hellboy Halloween costume. It's all in the attitude. Attitude, and presentation.

First of all, you've got to be a sucker for the dames. Hellboy may act tough around the guys, but get him near a pretty girl and he's all blushes and giggles. A little guy who's shy isn't too big a hit with the ladies, but a big, burly guy, someone who SHOULD have confidence around the girls, get him blushing and giggling and the ladies swoon.

Second, you've got to listen to your inner child when you're at the costume party. This means that you go ahead and swipe a sip of your friend's beer when he's not looking. Hey, they can't get mad at you, you're in character! Hellboy is given to childishness at times, and that's why he's such a cool character.

And last but not least, get a sunburn. Well, okay, you can just get some red makeup, instead.
